How to make Windows 7 not boot?
I have this friend that comes over every 2 days >.>
And when we start playing League of Legends he won't get out of home until 9-12 hours pass....
This starts to bother me, so I wanna make my laptop not boot, but I want to be able to fix it without reinstalling Windows 7 again... Please help me out!

you could try going into your bios and de-selecting your harddrive as a booting device.
in most computers you can access bios by pressing f12 or some other f-key right when your computer turns on and you see the company's logo.

that way your computer will only try to boot up from a cd-drive or a usb drive.
and if you don't have a windows 7 cd in your cd drive, then nothing will boot up.

later on you can just reselect your hardrive, and you're good to go.

that would be the easiest way.

another way wold be to go into msconfig, and disabling default services and other junk, to make your computer unable to use the internet or load up any video graphics.
but if you don't know what you're doing, you might be stuck like that.

OR you could just tell him to not use your laptop and not let him walk over you.

Ha! Damn easy! xD

There are two ways- taking RAM out or taking the HDD out.

1. HDD

a. Turn your laptop upside down. You can see an icon like this, or similar>>>http://www.flickr.com/photos/infernoblackflame69/8935066145/

b. Take the screws out. Then take the hard drive out. >>>http://www.flickr.com/photos/infernoblackflame69/8935683460/

c. Put the cover back. Hide the hdd so that your friend won't notice.

2. RAM

a. Turn your laptop upside down. After that, find this icon or similar.>>>http://www.flickr.com/photos/infernoblackflame69/8935681366/

b. Take the screws out, open the cover.>>>http://www.flickr.com/photos/infernoblackflame69/8935684112/

c. Remove the clips that grip the RAM card. Then, take out the ram.>>>http://www.flickr.com/photos/infernoblackflame69/8935057295/

d. Hide it. Close the cover.

Hope this helps! Big Grin I guarantee, this won't harm your laptop. Just put it back in to make your laptop working again. Wink
The safest and easiest way to do what you want is to open your BIOS setup. Find your boot order and remove the hard drive from it. Then all you have to do when he leaves is to enter your BIOS and select the hard drive and your up and running. This way you do not have to open the laptop or risk any damage to components. I have done this many of times and it makes it appear as is the hard drive is bad or the OS is corrupted.
