Need help using Microsoft Excel?

First off, i have microsoft excel 2007, what im trying to do is insert an equation so i can just plug in numbers and get an answer. the equation is [(x*250)+(y*250)] - z / 6.6 = ????

It doesn't make any difference what version of Excel you have.
If you enter the X value in A1, the Y value in B1, the Z value in C1 you can put the following fomula in E1 (or any cell you want):
=((A1*250)+(B1*250))-C1/6.6

Your answer will always show in E1. You might want to insert a blank row at the top to push the above down to row 2. You could then show column headings of X, Y, Z, Answer.
