How to Give credit for copyright?
#
I want to use a song in a video on youtube but I'm almost sure that its copyrighted. I don't want to scam anyone or find a way around it. The Copyright act states that I can use it if I give credit to the author and do not claim it as my own. How can I give credit? I have seen people in video descriptions give things like "no copyright Infringement intended" but Is there like a template for that? how should I write it?

The copyright law DOES NOT require that you give credit. It requires that you get permission from the owner of the copyright. Ordinarily, you get permission by buying that permission. You have confused the academic concept of plagiarism with the commercial concept of copyright.
